Dreamstead Farm is a regenerative, multi-species permaculture homestead taking root in central Missouri — and a living test bed for the design tools we build here.
The vision
We're building a small, resilient farm where every piece feeds the next: sheep graze in the shade of fruit and nut trees, poultry follow to clean up and control pests, their combined impact builds soil, and that soil grows more food, more habitat, and more life every season. Low inputs. High biodiversity. Real food, eggs, and fiber.
It's permaculture, demonstrated on real land — not just on paper.

Sheep + poultry + silvopasture
Sheep rotate through tree-dotted paddocks — they mow, they fertilize, they thrive in the shade. Right behind them come the chickens and ducks: scratching in the manure, breaking pest and parasite cycles, and laying eggs along the way. The trees give back shelter, fruit, nuts, and decades of carbon-storing growth. One stacked system, many yields.
